I read in New modern school (English medium) School. It is located near Howrah station and at a distance of 2 km’s from my home. It is one of the best schools in our district and I consider myself to be lucky to get a chance in this school. The count of students in the school is really huge, around 3000. The school has two buildings. Both of them are present side by side, each having 8 floors. Our school has 138 teachers, each of them are equally qualified and capable. Our school is name so because our institutions driven by the principles of swami Vivekananda. The school was establish in the year 1985 by Shri RAM MOHANROY Das who was an educate person of that time and used to run a pathshala under the trees. But his dedication lead to the foundation of this school.
The school rooms are huge each accommodates around 50 students. There are almost 10 class rooms in each floor. There are few other rooms for the teachers clerks and our headmaster has a separate room. AND is also a big playground just beside the school building. We students play there everyday during the recess time and sometimes after the school hours. The school also has a gardener who takes care of the huge trees that adds to the beauty of the surroundings. Our school receives a lot of money which is spent rightly for the betterment of the students in the form of digital classrooms and well equipped laboratories for the science students.
